How to Annoy Your Parents

By Azusa Watari

Have you ever annoyed your parents? I think almost all children have annoyed their parents at least once. Not only nobody wants to annoy their parents, but also they don’t want to be irritated. Sometimes, the relationship between the children and the parents grows awkward. So, you need to know what things make your parents angry. To annoy you parents is easy if you don’t know that.

First, you have to know your parents are busier than you. So, you should help to do housework. For example, there are dishes, laundry, cleaning rooms, and setting the table for dinner. You just do this kind of help and your parents feel happy and they can do their own work. The contrary, if you watch the TV, play games, or read comics all the time, your parents must be angry.

If you are not on time, your parents would be angry. For example, you don’t finish your homework before a deadline, or are late for school because of staying up late. Why are parents so grumpy about time? Because, it is very important to work. So, parents want you to get into the habit of being time for your future.

Most parents have expectations of their children. So, if you don’t study harder, they tell you, "Study or you can’t go out to play!" and you study unwillingly with sulking. But, you must not forget that they scold you. If they don’t have any expectations of you, they never scold you.

You have must been scolded about table manners at least once. Most parents are grumpy about table manners. Why? Because, it is also important in your future. If you will have a big party for a company, you need proper table manners. So, it is time to practice. First, you shouldn’t eat soup with noises. And, you shouldn’t leave too much of your food. It is impolite. The most difficult thing about table manners is the way to use forks and knives. If you don’t know which forks or knives you should use, you can ask your parents. They will teach you with pleasure.

As you can see, when parents scold you, it’s good for you. If you understand these things, you could make better relationship between you and your parents.
