Summer is my Favorite Season
By Yuka Furusaka
Summer is my favorite season. I can go to sea. I really like swimming in the sea. The sea is totally different from pool. Sea is infinity and I can swim in wide space. I love scuba diving in summer. Scuba diving is so fun! I can see many fishes. There are many beautiful fishes. I am always impressed by beautiful scene of sea. And I like to eat shaved ice. After swimming in the sea or scuba diving, I always eat shaved ice. There are many kinds of shaved ice. For example, lemon, strawberry, melon, powdered green tea. Byu eating shaved ice, my body becomes cool. So summer is my favorite season

Visiting the Philippines
By Hae Sung
I traveled to the Philippines two times. The first time, I traveled to Ce-Bu two years ago with my family. We did the tour for four days. However, we had a lot of entertainment like boating, eating sea food, and scuba diving. The second time, I went to the Bagio with my brother. I thought I would saty two months; nevertheyless, I stayed three months. I visited the Mounseview which we can see the view and I surfed with my friends.
After two months, my brother left; however, my parents came to the Philippines for a trip. We traveled by renting a car and we went around some cities. Although we spent most time in the car, we really enjoyed the trip. I think most times were interesting to me. In addition, those are all good memories. Someday I want to go to the Philippines again.

My First Overseas Trip
By Carrie Yun
When I was 13 years old, for two weeks I visited Charatting in Malaysia with my aunt's family. Even though my father and mother didn't go, I didn't feel lonely. We didn't need to look for travel such as a hotel, information of the city and flight tickets because we pre-arranged in Club Med. We flew for nine hours from Incheon in Korea to Kuala Lumpur with Air Malaysia.
Most Malaysians believe Islam, so many women were wearing the veil like a nun. It's hard to differentiate between girls and women.
The weather was not too hot but somewhat humid. I played volleyball on the beach. For this reason I got sunburn on my shoulders. In addition, when I played scuba diving, I was bitten by a jellyfish. As a matter of fact, I had to stay in my bed for two days. It was very painful, but I felt happy.
At night, we usually had a party with other visitors. We also enjoyed recreation and campfire. The food was fantastic, so I didn't need to put Korean sauce on food. Mative people were very kind even though I used my body language and little English.
When it was time to go home, I wanted to go back quickly because I was really tired and missed my family. It was a little bit painful, hot, and tiring, but I still remember those days very clearly.
