How to Make a Good First Impression on a Teacher

By Mina Tanaka

We should give our teachers who we meet for the first time a good impression. First, greeting is very important. It is common sense between people. When we go by our teachers in the school, we should greet them. Also, if we speak to our teachers, we should smile. Second, we should be careful about our way of speaking. We can’t use slang because it is teenagers’ words. So when we talk to older person who is our superior, we must use polite language. Finally, we should follow good manners. If we talk about something with our teachers, we mustn’t ask private questions. And, we should make eye contact. If we turn our eyes away, we will have bad manners. We should keep good manners during our conversation. If we should not forget these things, we will have good communication and we can give a good impression.
